Trust {Draco Malfoy x Reader} Chapter 30

Y/n watched as the creature known as a hippogriff walked up a good 45ft distance. A hippogriff was a strange animal, it had the head of an eagle, body of a horse with eagle wings. With the front feet as eagle and back legs as a horse it was a intresting animal. Hagrid had a coat of dead ferrets and gave one to the creature.



"Isn't he beautiful? Say hello to Buckbeak" Hagrid said letting everyone get a glimpse of Buckbeak.



"Hagrid what the bloody hell is that?" Ron said standing close to Hermione.



"That Ron is a hippogriff, now the first you need to know about hippogriffs is that they are very sensitive."



Y/n was bewildered to see such a wonderful creature. She smiled, as she stood next to Harry with Damien on her other side. Draco was about 12 behind her, he had mentally slap himself. He was losing her to that Hufflepuff!! He knew that he was running out of time.



This was the year that Y/n L/n would be his! He fixed his white-blonde hair. It was bothering him, he was trying to let it grow out but it kept getting in his eyes. He silently cursed at himself, he watched as Harry wrap his arm around Y/ns waist. He felt his blood boil at the sight. He felt his fingers ball up. He wanted to punch Saint Potter in the face knocking the stupid lighting bolt scar upon his forehead.



"Now who would like to learn how to pet him?"Everyone but Harry and Y/ n took a step back.



"Well done!! Well done Harry and Y/n!" Hagrid said starting to clap.



Y/n and Harry turned to everyone then looked at each other than back to Hagrid. The two walked up a bit. They were very nervous.



"Now first walk up and bow then see if he bows back and if he doesn't well we'll get back to that later."



Y/n and Harry slowly walked up to Buckbeak until they stepped on a stick making Buckbeak caw at them to back off, when they did they bowed. Buckbeak began calm and bowed back.



Draco pushed students out of the way eating a green apple watching Y/n. Y/n was never so scared in her life. Although Buckbeak seemed harmless at some points it still scared her.  Harry was feeling the same as got closer to the creature but felt more heat when he was next to Y/n.



"Well done Harry and Y/n!!!" Hagrid said clapping.



Draco clapped with fire of hate in his grey eyes at "Saint Potter". His heart was beating fast. He couldn't risk it if Y/n got hurt by that disgusting freak of nature. Why was he even wasting his time standing here watching his beloved ready to die before his eyes.



" Now both of you approach him slowly to pet him, have your hand out and slowly walk."


Harry and Y/n gulped feeling their hearts beating against their chests. They both raised their left hands and slowly began to walk to Buckbeak. Each step they took, made them feel not longer alive. Y/n took a breath and let it out knowing that everything would be alright.

Before they knew it, their hands were feeling Buckbeak's beak. Y/n smiled, as the creature purred.

" Now I think he'll let you ride him." Hagrid said.


"What? Hey Hey Hey!!! Hargid!! " exclaimed the two students.

Hagrid didn't listen as he put Y/n and harry on Buckbeak. Y/n was in front of Harry, Harry held on to her waist as Hagrid gave a slap to Buckbeak.  Buckbeak let out a roar and began to sprint letting his eagle wings spread, jumping into air taking flight.

"WHOA!" yelled Y/n and Harry.

Buckbeak had taken them above the forest showing a beautiful view. Y/n looked at the view and smiled softly. Soon they were over the black lake. Buckbeak flew close to the water with his feet skidding against the water. Harry sat up a bit more and held out his arms letting the wind run through his hair.

"Y/n try this!! Whoooo!!!" Y/n took Harry's word and did it herself.

Buckbeak flew over the Hogwarts castle finally descending into the forest where they first took flight. Y/n and Harry got off of Buckbeak laughing and smiling to themselves and earn alot of good jobs from the other students. Until Draco pushed through the crowd of students walking fast up to Buckbeak.


" Not dangerous at all are you? You big ugly brute!" Draco proceeded walking up to Buckbeak.

"Malfoy back off!!" Hagrid said but it was too late.

Buckbeak roared and stood up clawing Draco's right arm. Draco fell to the ground holding his arm in pain.  Students ran and screamed. Y/n ran straight to Draco, comforting him. Hagrid threw a dead ferret away from Draco and Y/n.

"Hagrid! Draco needs to be taken to the hospital!" Y/n cried out, burshing Draco's hair.

Draco smiled to himself softly but groaned in pain. Hagrid picked him up and walked away.

"I'll get you and that bloody chicken!" Draco croaked out.

Y/n followed Hagrid to keep Draco company.

Y/n sat beside Draco as he was playing with the cloth that his right arm was wrapped it.

"Dray stop playing with it.."

"Why are you even here?" He said coldy.

"Because I...." she stopped herself from confessing her feelings and blushed a deep red.

"Look...last year, I was an arse and I'm sorry.." Draco muttered.

Y/n gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I forgive you. Friends?"

"Friends" And Draco grabbed her face and kissed her upon Y/n's lips.

Y/n's eyes widened as she felt Draco's lips on her own. She flustered a deep red and kissed back, closing her eyes. Y/n's arms wrapped around his neck as Draco's left arm wrapped around her waist bringing her closer. They kissed in sync as if they were truly made for each other. Y/n's hands ran up to Draco's white blonde hair and began to tug softly. Draco let out a soft groan and kept kissing her.

Soon they both pulled away for air. Y/n started to blush again. Draco chuckled and kissed her cheeks.

"Y/n...I don't want to be friends. I want to be your boyfriend. I mean um...if you'll have me...and I understand if you don't wan-" Y/n kissed Draco again in the middle of hi sentence.



"I would love it if you were my boyfriend Dray. " Draco chuckled and held her closer.

"So will you be my girlfriend?" Y/n giggled.

"I will but there are some rules, I have."

"Oh Merlin..."

" 1. No spoiling me
  2. Be nicer to my friends
  3.  Please be the sweetheart you are around me all the time
  4.   Don't you EVEN dare to cheat!
  5.  and just love me
  6. Don't tell anyone about our relationship yet"

"I can do 4 out of 6 of those" Draco chuckled kissing her forehead.

Y/n smiled then frowned.

"Wait which two will you not do?"

" 1 and 3, I'll try to be nicer but it's a possible that I cant. I want to spoil you and i cant be the guy I am right now except when we are alone."

Y/n sighed. She knew this was asking too much but maybe this would work somehow.

"Get some rest Draco, I still got classes. I'll visit later." She stated kissing his forehead, then pecking his lips.

"Have fun love, see you later." He said back with a sly smile.

Y/n smiled grabbing her bag, kissing his forehead once again and left the Infirmary to her classes with a wide smile on her face. She couldn't believe it Draco Malfoy was her boyfriend. She wanted to tell someone yet she couldn't. Why was love so difficult?
